Between May and July, the House took up four separate war powers resolutions ordering American troops out of hostilities with Iran and Lebanon.

Roll Call 170, House Concurrent Resolution 75, taken May 14, directs the President, under section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran. It failed, 212 to 212. Shomari Figures voted yes. All five Alabama Republicans voted no.

Roll Call 199, House Concurrent Resolution 86, taken June 3, directs the President, under section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran. It passed, 215 to 208. Shomari Figures voted yes. All five Alabama Republicans voted no.

Four times in four months, the House voted on pulling American forces out of hostilities in the Middle East.
